Beyond Exercise: Internet Skinny Tips!

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Hey ladies!  Since I was doing extensive research on my latest “Beyond Exercise,” I’m posting it a day late.  Better late than never though right?

So today’s Beyond Exercise Tip is how to use the Internet to make you skinny!  I know what you’re thinking – how could sitting on my bum Facebook stalking for hours help me lose weight?  Well you’d be surprised at the mass amounts of knowledge the Internet contains for nutrition and health.  After all, one of the most googled phrases is “how to lose weight.”  Check out the tips below and get surfing (the web, obviously).

1.  Research new food recipes!  Its amazing how many sites offer you healthy tips that will make you a master chef in no time.  Much to my surprise, New Balance even offers a website with tons of food recipes.  It has options for a lot of snacks and meals.  I’m definitely trying out this new trail mix recipe!

2.  Use YouTube and other free videos online.  If I had a penny for every time I used YouTube for 8 minute abs, buns, and legs, I’d literally have a million dollars.  And thanks to my new obsession with Pilates, I’ve found lots of YouTube videos to use.

3.  Check out your competition.  Holly Perkins suggested to some of the other fitness bloggers that they keep an eye out on other trainers and fitness bloggers out there.  While this may not have been a tip specifically for me, I think most collegiettes contain that competitive edge to get motivated.  Think about it – if you see someone else’s progress, its much more likely that you will be motivated to get out there as well.  And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t check out my fellow fitness bloggers – shhh!!

Check back later today for my latest workout in Eisenhower Park!
Peace, love, and fitness,
