Beyoncé Finally Shared the First Photo of Her Twins, & Twitter Captured Exactly How We’re Feeling

The world thought Beyoncé gave birth to twins last month, but nothing was confirmed until this morning. For the first time, Bey revealed her twins to the world in an Instagram post with the caption, “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.” (How precious is this?! It even mimics the ~aesthetic~ of her pregnancy announcement photos.)

Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.

Although there have been rumors about the twins’ birth, names and sexes, Beyoncé hadn’t acknowledged any of that until now. The consensus has been for quite some time that Bey had one boy and one girl, but initial reports claimed they were named Shawn and Bea. Late last month, though, an attempt to trademark the names Rumi Carter and Sir Carter gave away the babies’ names.

In her post, Beyoncé also confirmed that the twins were born on June 13, making them one-month old already!

Along with the twins’ Instagram debut came amazing reactions on Twitter, of course. These 10 tweets describe exactly how the world is feeling.

1. The twins have healing powers

2. Rumi’s name calls for a good pun

3. Sir Carter is the son of Queen Bey and should be treated as such

4. The creativity and time this must have taken is impressive

5. When you feel like you’re a part of the Carter family

6. Why does Beyoncé always want to post when we’re trying to sleep?

7. Sometimes a GIF is better than words

8. The emotional moment when you realize the twins are already a month old

9. This user is thinking long term

10. We can’t forget about Blue Ivy! I wonder how she likes being a big sister

I’m dying over this first pic of Rumi and Sir Carter, and I can’t wait to watch as they grow up.
