The Best Summer Job in America Contest

No summer job or internship yet? You may be feeling unlucky — but you’ve still got a chance to get very, very lucky with the Best Summer Job in America contest.

UK University outfitters, Jack Wills, wants to know why YOU want the best summer job in America and they’ve set up an opportunity that will blow everyone (especially those stuck making copies and fetching coffee this summer) away.

They’ve launched an online contest for students in the U.S. from 18-24 which will provide one lucky student with $20,000 in tuition money, a 6-week paid internship as a Jack Wills “Seasonnaire” (a brand ambassador who lives the Jack Wills’ lifestyle) where you will live, work and party in their Nantucket house from July 1-August 13. And they mean party — the brand says the student winner should expect to spend the summer on the beach, sailing and surfing during the day and hosting parties in town at night (see video below to get a glimpse of what they mean).

Oh, and there’s more: the chosen Seasonnaire will get to travel to the Jack Wills stores in resort locales of Martha’s Vineyard, Newport and Southampton AND attend the brand’s summer events in the UK and LA. Unreal!

If you’re dying for this opportunity — and who wouldn’t be?! — fill out an application online between May 9 and June 20 and make an amazing video about why you want this job! We’d love to see an HC reader win — so keep us posted if you enter and especially if you become the chosen Seasonnaire! We’d love to hear about it (mostly so we can be insanely jealous)!
