I have a very exciting piece of news to share with everyone…!!
As of today, I’m officially a “college dropout”! I’ve decided to take a leave of absence from my senior year at Harvard to work on Her Campus full-time :) Ok ok so I’m not actually a dropout because I will return and get my degree, but for now I’m having a blast working at Her Campus — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, after all!!
A big thank you to my friends and family who were so supportive of me throughout the entire decision-making process. I gotta say, Harvard makes it super easy too — apparently 1 in 5 students here take time off, so they’ve really got the process down pat!
So now that I have all this time on my hands, what’s on my plate?
- Renovating the Her Campus site — no doubt you’ve seen some of the changes already, especially on the homepage (tell me what you think!)…more about this in a future Founders’ Blog post!

Making a Her Campus mobile app — I’ve gotten tons of requests for a HC iPhone app, an HC location-based game, etc. and can’t wait to get started!
- Designing more HC merch for the Her Campus Shop — If you’re interested in helping me design cute tees, lipbalms, tote bags, and other fun stuff, email me!
- Recruiting interns to work with me — check out the internship listing I posted and apply if you’re interested!
- Hanging out with Stephanie and Windsor — yep, we spend 40 hours a week together now :) It’s always a riot at the HC offices!
