Just read a news story about a woman organizing a “girlcott” against Urban Outfitters because the clothing retailer is now selling shirts with such slogans as: “Fathers, it’s up to you to preserve your daughter’s virginity” and “Eat Less.”
Now UO isn’t exactly known for being conventional, but I’m a little amazed at how un-PC these tees are.
Activist Shelby Knox believes in combating these sexist messages by sending a message through the cash register.
What do you think?
