The collegiettes that contribute to The Beauty School blog for Her Campus are all about hair, makeup and beauty. Since it’s always exciting to get the inside scoop about their favorite products, styles and routines, sneaking a peek inside of their makeup bags can reveal firsthand what products they use to look fabulous and beautiful. All products shown are personal favorites selected by the specific girl of the week, and all opinions expressed are 100% their own.

Like many of the other Beauty School Bloggers, I have bit of an obsession with makeup. To be honest, I don’t really have a makeup ‘bag’ because it wouldn’t all fit in a bag. My collection is more like a giant set of drawers:

So, I narrowed it down and picked out some of my favorite and most used products to show you!

Face

After I moisturize, I use my Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion as a base for my foundation. My favorite foundation of all time is Covergirl’s Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1. I swear this is the best foundation I have ever used. It’s not too heavy, it gives great coverage and it lasts all day! Plus, it’s pretty inexpensive, as it is a drugstore brand. What else could you ask for? If I have any redness or imperfections, I use bareMinerals concealer to cover it up. I also use it under my eyes, so I look like I actually had a good night’s sleep (which is rare).

I then set my foundation and concealer with Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. This powder is affordable, at around $5.00, and works so well! It keeps my face from getting oily all day. Then, you can’t forget the blush and bronzer! I use Rimmel Bronzer in Sun Bronze in the hollows of my cheeks, on my temples and around my jawline. This bronzer gives a natural glow to the skin. I then apply my favorite blush at the moment, e.l.f Baked Blush in Peachy Cheeky to my cheekbones. To give a little extra glow to my skin, I add a Benefit highlighter in Watt’s Up! to the top of my cheekbones!

Eyes

The amount of eye shadow that I own is actually insane and I probably have every color of the rainbow, but recently I have just been using my Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay.

Like the other 2 Naked palettes, it has 12 neutral shades that can be worn every day, but can also be built up for a more dramatic look. The Naked 3 has more rosy colors, which I’m loving as we approach spring! I usually wear some combination of the colors in this palette and it’s great for a natural daytime look.

After eye shadow, eyeliner is a must. I wear winged liner on my upper lash line basically everyday. To do this, I use Palladio’s liquid liner. This eyeliner has a felt tip that makes it easy to apply. I don’t always use eyeliner on my lower lash line, but if I do want to go for a more dramatic look, I use Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on pencil. It’s my favorite because it seriously lasts all day and doesn’t smudge like some eyeliners tend to do. Then, of course, you can’t forget mascara. I have been loving Maybelline’s The Falsies Big Eyes mascara. It has 2 sides, one for the upper lashes and one for the bottom. Both sides make your lashes look amazing! It’s also waterproof, so it stays on really well.

Lips

While I love all makeup, lipstick definitely has to be my favorite. I own over 50 lipsticks, which is probably insane, but I don’t even care. I love wearing bold lips on an every day basis, so picking 3 of my favorites was difficult. However, I really love these three and find myself wearing them often.

The first is Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in Kiss of Life, which I have found to be the perfect matte red lipstick. The next is MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Girl About Town. It is an amazing pink that is perfect for spring. The last is Covergirl Lip Perfection in Smitten. Their lipstick line is one of my favorites from the drugstore. I have several shades from it, but Smitten is a wearable purple lipstick, which I love wearing all the time.

Those are just a few of my favorite things in my makeup bag! I hope you enjoyed getting a look at my everyday routine and favorite products.
