Are you ready to be as daring as the music at Coachella 2013? This spring music festival is the perfect time to try out spring and summer’s latest makeup trends. Your makeup can be as loud as the music or as soft as the whispers between you and your friends; the key is keeping your look balanced. So if you do a daring eye, keep the rest of your look gentle and soft.

Eyes

1. Bold MetallicsBoldly line your eyes with dark eyeliner. Then add metallic silver eye shadaow from lid to brow bone, making sure to add a wing of eyeshadow past your eyes.

2. Rock Grunge: Smudge dark eyeliner underneath your bottom lashes and get a little clumpy with your mascara.

3. Bigger-than-life Lashes: In a case of go big or go home, add some serious drama to your eyes with the longest and fullest set of false eyelashes you can find.

4. Pink All-Around: This might be one of the most difficult to pull off, so practice first. Line your eyes with a bright pink eyeliner and top your lashes with pink mascara.

5. Brows Have It: Forget pencil-thin eyebrows and go thick (but clean and trim) with your eyebrows this season. Fill in any spaces in your brows with brow powder or pencil. Then keep the rest of your look more on the neutral side. Your eyebrows are sure to draw attention to your gorgeous eyes!

Lips

1. Neon Kissers: Bright, matte pink lipstick makes a bold statement. For this look, choose a bright pink shade that complements your skin tone.

2. Citrus Look: Find your brightest pink and orange matte lipsticks. Use the pink to brighten the corners of your lips, and highlight the centers of your lips with the orange lipstick.

3. Nude Lips: Go naked. If your lip are dry, lip balm is okay, but skip the gloss. Lips are matte this season.

4. Deep Wine: If you don’t want to go bright, why not go dark? Deep purple and wine shades look awesome on brunettes.

5. More Two-Toned: In a twist from the citrus look above, line your lips with pink and fill in with orange lipstick; or do it the opposite way, with orange lip liner and pink lipstick.

Face

1. Bronze: Give your face a sun-kissed glow with bronzer.

2. Naked Face: You can look naked without being naked. Use tinted mositurizer and powder to achieve the nude, matte look of the season. Pair with either bold eyes or bold lips (but not both).

3. Peachy Cheeks: Use highlighter on your cheekbones; then swirl and blend in peachy blush on your apples to your cheek bones.

4. Rosy Apples: Mix three or more shades of pink blush together and blend into the apples of your cheeks. Top with foundation, concealer and highlighter, blending until it looks natural.

5. Completely Bare: Moisturize and go!
