Vegan tattoo artist and makeup guru Katherine von Drachenberg, also known as Kat Von D, owns one of the biggest makeup brands in the world. It is safe to say that KVD is awesome! In a recent Instagram post, she shared a video of herself relaxing with her three cats under a blanket that matches her nail polish, near a fireplace. But her caption was what caught my attention, as she perfectly described life in Trump’s America. She wrote, “What more could I ever ask for? Well, aside from a president who doesn’t deny climate change, set women’s rights back a century and promote bigotry amongst many other horrors. Other than that, life is perfect.” She basically described my exact feelings. You take a moment to appreciate life, then you remember that you have a president who is trying to take all your rights away and erase all the progress brought about by previous administrations.
