Get ready, beauty junkies, because there’s some bad blood stirring up over in the makeup world. Remember Jeffree Star’s heated feud with Kat Von D last year? Well, now he is back in the Twittersphere, spillin’ some serious tea on Too Faced Cosmetics creative director Jerrod Blandino.
The root of the problem? The Power of Makeup palette that mega-popular beauty vlogger NikkieTutorials launched last year. Most of us who keep up with the beauty community know that Jeffree and Nikkie are good friends, and have collaborated on videos several times. So, when Jeffree learned from a video by Sanders Kennedy that Nikkie was only paid 50k for a massively successful, over 9-million dollar launch, he took it upon himself to call Jerrod out.

And, to add to the drama, Jeffree threw shade at one of Too Faced’s latest IG posts about their Unicorn Tears lipstick, which many people took as a not-so-subtle dig at Tarte Cosmetics.

I mean, really—unicorn-inspired makeup is nothing new, just have a look at one of Lime Crime’s best selling collections.
Neither Jeffree, Nikkie, or Jerrod have commented on the drama outside of social media, but it’s likely it isn’t over yet. We’ll just have to wait and see what unfolds next. Here’s to hoping this was all just a terrible misunderstanding.
