Everything We Want from the Lush Holiday Collection

Lush dropped their new holiday range, and every single item looks amazing. This year’s collection features fan-favorites in different packaging, items inspired by our favorite holiday foods, and a new charity pot. Here is an overview of some of the new offerings we’re dying to try this holiday season:

Food-Inspired

One of the best things about fall/winter celebrations is all the food. Feeling inspired, Lush created a new range of bath products all influenced by your favorite holiday foods. The offerings include Golden Pear, a soap made from fresh pear puree and cardamom oil, Candy Cane, a reusable bubble bar featuring Sicilian lemon oil, and Gingerbread Man, a sparkle jar infused with ginger oil. Use the sparkle jar by poking holes in the designated spots, dusting yourself with shimmery, plastic-free sparkles, and then massage the packaging-free ginger-scented body butter over your skin to keep it nice and soft.

Packaging-Free, Naked Items

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the average American household’s waste increases by more than 25 percent between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. In an effort to reduce the impacts of waste during the holidays, Lush is offering packaging-free, naked versions of almost every packaged holiday item, including Lush’s classic holiday shower gel, Cinders, and naked versions of the sweet-smelling Snow Fairy collection. The non-waste version will work the same as the traditional liquid and cream formulas, but without the excess packaging!

In addition to naked shower gels and body conditioners, Lush has also made their Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotion packaging-free, making it their most ethical product yet! This moisturizing body cream, made with ethically sourced ingredients, including Fair Trade organic cocoa butter, rosewood oils and ylang ylang, supports various causes and organizations. All of the proceeds from Charity Pot (minus taxes) are donated to grassroots organizations working to support human rights, animal welfare and environmental conservation across the world. In the last 10 years, over $27 million has been donated to more than 1,850 charities via Charity Pot.

With the number of new products in their holiday collection, Lush has you covered for both pampering yourself and getting those perfect gifts for all your friends and family.
