Yara Jeries

Hello friends! My name is Yara, and I'm so excited to be part of this organization. I'm an international student from Jordan, but grew up most of my life in Saudi Arabia, both of which I consider my home. I've loved my experience in San Francisco so far; I've always loved traveling to new places and meeting people from all kinds of different cultures. I love art, music, movies and tv shows, and most of all discovering fun new things to do in every city I end up in!

I'm a 4th year student at SF State University working towards a B.S in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I have worked in the university's student services center as an enrollment assistant for the past year. Unfortunately, that time is up now, but I truly enjoyed my work there while it lasted! Right now, I'm part of the EXCO student-teacher team, teaching my Journaling 101 class which I absolutely adore and cannot recommend enough for anyone who enjoys teaching or is passionate about any subject they'd like to share with other people.

I can't wait to experience being a part of Her Campus! This is a wonderful organization, and I'm certain that this experience will make my final semester here so full of energy, love, positivity, and enthusiasm.
