Wanizhah Zahra

Hi there! I’m currently a sophomore at UNT and am expected to graduate in spring of 2021. My major is Biology, with a minor in chemistry, but I am super passionate about English and creative writing. I first realized I felt passionate about writing last spring actually, when I took Intermediate Creative Writing- Fiction, and wrote a short story that I plan on submitting to North Texas Review! Writing has always come naturally to me and you might be wondering why I’m a biology major then, right? Well, I plan on graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, later going on to medical school, completing my residency as a medical student, and becoming a pediatrician, which is my dream job! I love traveling and exploration, and seeking new adventures. My top countries that I would visit are: Greece, Italy, France, and South Korea! My taste in music is a whole wide of genres ranging from, Pop, K-Pop, R&B, And Hip Hop. This is my first year in the Her Campus organization and am looking forward to making wonderful memories with all the lovely ladies that are part of the organization as well!
