Vivienne Barnhart

Hi there! My name is Vivienne, but most of my friends call me Viv. I am currently a third-year undergraduate student at James Madison University. Being a double major in Psychology and Philosophy can be pretty hectic when juggling between the academic and social pressures a university lifestyle presents. However, it is certainly doable to overcome these pressures and have both a successful and enjoyable college experience. As a double major and someone who regularly participates in recreational sports, along with being a member of multiple academic clubs – one of which I even founded and am currently the appointed president, I feel that I could provide productive advice to upcoming and current university students via my personal experience. On a more relaxed note, in my free time, I enjoy creative writing, reading, participating in volleyball and basketball activities, and most of all, traveling. As a lover of travel and culture, I am super excited to say that I am currently enrolled for a Study Abroad experience in Florence, Italy, and would love to share my experience will fellow students looking into study abroad programs.
