Sophia Featherstone is the co-president and co-campus correspondent of Her Campus Boston University. She reviews and publishes articles, oversees membership engagement, and facilitates executive meetings for the betterment of the organization.
Featherstone is a junior at Boston University, majoring in public relations and minoring in sociology. Beyond that, she is the membership vice president of Alpha Phi Omega Zeta Upsilon, BU's only co-ed community service fraternity. Featherstone is also an account manager at Unleashed Public Relations and a member of BU's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Unleashed PR is BU's premier student-run public relations agency, nationally affiliated with PRSSA. Featherstone is a former in-house program assistant for external relations at the Boston University Academy. There, she communicated with and logged interactions between alumni via Google Sheets, Excel, and Blackbaud Customer Relationship Management. Now, Featherstone works as a yearbook assistant at BU's Dean of Students Office, where she collaborates with a group of fellow students to put together the yearbook. Additionally, Featherstone assists the dean of students' marketing and communications team in creating content for their two main social media platforms: Instagram and TikTok.
In her free time, Featherstone enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, and watching various reality television shows.
