Sonal Butley

Sonal Butley is a novice member as the content writer for Her Campus at Delhi North. She plans to input her penchant for writing, editing and all the skills she has to offer in the flawless framing of the website and social networking handles of HCDN.

Beyond HCDN, Sonal has worked as a reputable content writer at Seva Charitable Trust based in Mumbai. Her primary work there included promoting custom-made, eco-friendly products by the esteemed organisation via her penmanship. She has also been awarded as the Apeejay Scholar Journalist for an inspiring and dopamine-inducing piece on Indian Independence Day. Additionally, Sonal has worked as the leading content writer for a former NGO uplifting initiative, 'Project Navrasa.' Sonal has also learnt a lot through myriad writing courses on Coursera.

Sonal is currently pursuing her undergraduation at Hansraj College, University of Delhi with Bachelor's degree in History as her course. Since Liberal arts are all about writing and describing as much as one can, her allegiance towards her academics also push her writing ambitions further!

In her leisure time, Sonal loves to read and blog nonsensically on Tumblr. She has a particular affinity for the fictional murder mystery genre. You'll always find her sitting on her chair, listening to evergreen 90s songs, while her fingers are tapping away yet another write-up on her laptop.
