Shelby Whiteaker is the president and CC of the London chapter of Her Campus at the University of Richmond.
Within the university, Shelby studies International Relations and is working towards a career in Journalism/Media studies. She is the Vice President of Academics for the school and a Student Senator representative. She has previously published articles for "The Arapahoe Pinnnacle," the school paper for Arapahoe Community College in Colorado, and Her Campus. Her works cover everything from helpful mindfulness practices to fun community events and women empowerment. She is currently a sophomore and hopes to complete a masters program in International Law after undergraduate courses.
In her free time, Shelby enjoys cultural excursions to local heritage sites and museums. She also enjoys the outdoors and the occasional backpacking trip to the Highlands. These hikes are usually accompanied by movie soundtracks and classical music as she makes her way across the trails. She enjoys languages and cultures from across the globe and will never say no to learning a new skill.
