Shanon Toh

Hi, I am Shannon. I am currently a junior majoring in Communication Studies. I am an international transfer student from Malaysia. My hobbies are breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, topped with working out. In addition, I have always been fascinated with every aspect of the fashion industry, which motivated me to turn my love of fashion into a career. I am also addicted to Korean culture, ranging from their cuisine, etiquette, traditional culture, fashion, music, movie, and drama to their street food. Growing up as a minority in a multiethnicity, multireligious, and multicultural nation, it has always been a dream to pursue higher education in the United States. I want to make some changes in my community; even minor changes will play a role. One of my beliefs is that I insist in making the impossible possible because there is no fun in giving up. One last thing: I believe the best things come from living outside of my comfort zone, and I am currently saying yes to new adventures.
