Hello everyone! My name is Samara and I am sophomore on the way of getting a bachelors degree in psychology. I am hoping that I can work in the criminal or forensics psychology program after I graduate. My other goal is to start and complete my masters forensics/ criminal psychology degree. I chose to go to UCR because I saw the opportunities and networking that I can obtain from going to a UC. After living on campus for my first year, I feel comfortable and apart of the UCR community. Not once have I ever felt like I chose the wrong college because I do not feel out of place and enjoy being on campus.
I am person who enjoys the outdoors. The best way for me to study is by going outside of my comfort zone and finding a new place that can keep me productive. I am also a person who loves the sun and 100% prefers it to be summer than winter. The weather can change my mood through out the day and when I am outside, my day turns out to be very good. I also have a strong mindset of doing the best that I can, academically. I was raised with the mindset that college is very important and I like to believe that anyone can take my job but no one can take my knowledge. That is why I am dedicated when it comes to my school work.
My main motive of being apart of this club is trying to connect to the campus on a more interactive aspect. I felt like this club was more of my style because on socials (instagram) it looks like this club is very hands on with their organization and that is exactly what I am looking for. I hope that I can learn a lot from being apart of this club.
