McKayla Hartman

McKayla is a junior at Northeastern University majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Political Science. She is also on the pre-medical track and is working towards a plus-one Master's Degree in Bioinformatics. She is currently on Co-Op working at Massachusetts General Hospital in partnership with Harvard Medical School as a Biomedical Researcher studying ovarian and breast cancer. Her dream is to one day become an astronaut and maybe even the first woman on the moon!

Outside of school, McKayla is a part of No Limits Dance Crew, Northeastern's Sexual Assault Response Coalition, and is also a Resident Assistant. Depsite her strong inclination towards scientific disciplines, McKayla enjoys creative writing, poetry, social justice, and journalism.

In her free time, she enjoys FaceTiming her two guinea pigs back home (Pablo & Picasso), taking a yoga class, finding new things to add to her self care routine, spending time with friends, and exploring Boston. She is so excited to be a part of HER Campus!
