Marina Kontos is a current freshman at the University of Pittsburgh in the Media and Professional Communications program, planning on taking the Writing for the Professions track. Being from Pittsburgh, she has a strong interest in all the things that make up our city: culture, art, sports, music, etc. Marina loves to go to concerts, movies, museums, and many other things. She hopes to pursue a journalistic career in the future, with her enjoyment in writing about art and fashion, as well as current events. A few other facts about Marina are that she loves to surf, she is obsessed with horror movies, and she went to Greece for a month by herself in the summer of 2022. She is looking forward to her first year of membership in Her Campus!
