Madelyn Brown

Madelyn Brown is stoked to be a staff writer at the Her Campus Chapter at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Outside of HCCU Madelyn is currently in her second year at the University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing a BA in English with a double minor in Women & Gender Studies and Business. While at school Madelyn competed with Colorado Crew from August 2022 through November 2023. There she not only coxed multiple wins and second place finishes for the Men's team, but served as the Alumni Relations Chair for a semester. She hopes to use her education and skills to eventually work in New York as a dramaturg or museum curator.

When not at the library focusing on her academics or writing an article for HCCU Madelyn can be found behind the bar at Kataluma Chai, gossiping with her mom, dancing in the kitchen with her dog, or filling in her friends and partner on the details of her most recent read. She loves to hear herself talk and finds it hard to shut up about pop culture, especially film and reality TV, the importance of the humanities, and old art, specifically French impressionism.
