Laney Sharp

Laney is a third-year Psychology student minoring in Criminal Justice and earning her Deaf* Studies Certificate at the University of Cincinnati. Currently, she specializes in child and adolescent mental health and has worked as a TA, a research assistant, and an intern at the Gardner Neuroscience Institute. Her goal after receiving her bachelor’s is to go on to graduate school to become a Clinical Psychologist.

Outside of her career and academics, she has a passion for music, religion, and film analysis. She also enjoys making coffee drinks and mocktails at home, playing with cats, reading, and spending time with friends and loved ones!

Her goal through HerCampus is to use this platform to share thoughts on mental health, dive deeper into psychological concepts, and to publish reviews on music, movies, and writings. Alongside the other amazing women on my campus, she hopes to support and empower others to use their voices and share their stories!
