asha oconnell

Asha is from Chatham, New Jersey and is a freshman at BU. She is currently a film major but switching to advertising. She is very excited to be a part of Her Campus and to start working on the Events team.

In high school, she obtained leadership roles in multiple clubs including French Club, Advocating for Social Justice, and Young Progressives. She was also the founder and president of the Film Club and was a member of the school television show, The Pulse.

Additionally, Asha has job experience in a variety of roles. She was an assistant manager at the Chatham Hickory Cinema for almost two years. Most recently, she was a server and hostess at 54 Main Bar and Grille.

In her free time, Asha enjoys listening to music, going to the gym, doing yoga, traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants. She also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
