Anaella Campana

Anaella A. Campaña is currently a second semester Sophomore at the State University of New York at New Paltz, majoring in Creative Writing. She aspires to be a professional novelist and poet. Three authors who have influenced her are Sandra Cisneros, Junot Diaz, and James Baldwin. Anaella's work focuses on social issues while incorporating vivid imagery and urban life elements. Anaella is Afro-Latina with parents from Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Ecuador. She hopes to make the LatinX voice heard on the New Paltz campus.
