Alaana

I, Alaana, am a fresher in Ashoka University and have studied economics, psychology and mathematics in Step by Step School. Research work and writing are my two passions and I pursued both during the course of my education, as a result of being Vice Captain. I secured a 3.9 (+/-) GPA overall while regularly writing for the school magazine.

I am an ardent writer and also have a diverse background in various extracurricular activities, including photography, writing, cooking, music, graphic design, data analytics, investing, and community service. I have participated in the Travel Links Photography Contest and used my photography to run a mental health awareness campaign. Apart from that, I run a co-founded an economics blog, "The Future Economist," and am on the way to publish my first book. Music is another great passion of mine, specifically, singing and songwriting. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have participated in various summer programs, such as the Ashoka Summer School, writing, art, and poetry workshops.

Community service is my biggest passion, as I aim to directly and indirectly help create change, however ambitious it may be. From organising charity drives, donating resources, I also have written policy proposals for the farmers movement in India.

I am currently a part of a music society and the Ashoka newspaper as a content writer, whilst also being on the graphic designing team for various other clubs in my college.
