Starbucks Wants to Send You and a Loved One to New York City

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FIT chapter.

It’s no secret that in our fast-moving world it can be difficult to feel truly present. Between texts, phone calls, emails, and countless other distractions, we often forget to tune out the outside noise and connect with the here and now. Starbucks knows that, and that is why they are giving away an opportunity for three lucky winners to tune out distractions and be more present with those who matter most with a Starbucks® Coffee Break-away trip for two in New York City.

A new study from YouGov Plc revealed that we have never felt more of a need to truly connect to one another than we do today. 86 percent of Americans agree that it is more important to them to be present in the moment and appreciate the world around them versus how they felt in 2019. The same study also found that nearly three out of four people admit that they sometimes struggle to be present in their daily lives. These same people are twice as likely to struggle with being present with their closest loved ones, as opposed to their acquaintances.

Starbucks teamed up with actress Ashley Park to surprise three sets of loved ones for an unforgettable experience to share a private Starbucks® Coffee Break at the American Museum of Natural History. This beautiful film shares the story of loved ones who want to connect with one another more than anything. By taking a moment to share a coffee together, they get to reconnect and be present in the moment — something we could all use a little more of these days.

Now it’s your turn. Starbucks is giving away three trips for two to New York City to help you tune out distractions, tune into each other and be present with those who matter most. You can enter to win this incredible experience at CoffeeBreak-Away.com through June 27.
