As the school year comes to a close, it’s time to start thinking of summer plans! Summer is the perfect time to relax and de-stress from the hard work done all year. However, it’s still important to be productive over the summer months. I decided to make a summer bucket list to make sure I maintain my productivity. There’s still a lot to add, but here’s a glimpse so far!

  1. Learn how to do something new

Even though school learning is over, it’s always fun to start something new in your free time – it may even become something you love doing! Learning how to bake something new and gardening are two of the main things I’m looking forward to learning

2. Maintain daily habits

Over the course of the school year we’ve all developed daily habits – even just by going to class everyday, you’ve incorporated something into your daily routine. Keeping daily habits while at home during the summer months can help keep you organized and motivated. Some of my favorite daily habits include waking up early, going to the gym, and finding quality time for family.

3. Practice mindfullness

Practicing mindfulness has numerous benefits such as decreasing stress and improving concentration. Some ways to do this is by journaling, yoga, and meditation.

Overall, having a summer bucket list to add on to over the summer is a great way to stay organized and motivated. These three goals are just the start!

I’m a sophomore from Lynn, Massachusetts and I’m a political science major!
