As I am currently a senior at UNH about to graduate, I have no idea what I am doing for the rest of my life. I don’t have a full time job set up yet, but I do have a summer job, which is something at least.
I should be scared of graduating but surprisingly, I’m not. I always thought while growing up that by the time you got to college you would know exactly what you want to do with your life and your career. But now that I’m graduating, I have absolutely no clue what I want to do. I got a degree in Communication, which is such a broad area that ideally I do have many different angles to go into a career with. Not having a plan after college hasn’t been as stressful as some would imagine. I think going with the flow is my vibe right now and if something is meant to be, it will.
As the school year comes to an end, graduation is right around the corner. I am thrilled to be graduating but also sad to leave some of my friends behind. This summer I am hopeful that while having a part time job, I will be able to figure out where I want to live for the next few years, and try out different things that come my way. It is ok to be lost and not have any clue what you want to do. Just let life happen!
