With a television show that has a star-studded cast, picking a favorite character or moment in the show can be hard to do. This season of Euphoria has given some characters more screen time and we all have a new favorite: our girl Lexi.
In season one, you may have known her as “Cassie’s sister” or “Rue’s friend,” but this season she is metaphorically and literally rewriting the narrative. Whether this is a potential love story, adapting an edgier clothing style, or directing her own play, fans are very excited to see a lot more of her.
Speaking of that potential romance, the internet has most definitely joined Lexi in blushing over fan favorite, Fezco. Fans love how Angus Cloud got his start and even more how he embodies his character as if he’s playing himself. Season 2 has provided the insight we did not know we needed, regarding his grandmother and younger brother, Ash. I am sure a lot of us can agree, we did not expect his start in the business to come from being partners in crime with his rebellious grandma.
Thirdly, another very unexpected turn was the power of Cal’s backstory. Watching Derrek and Cal dance to “Never Tear us Apart” by INXS basically tore every single viewer apart. These powerful scenes have not only added dimension to these characters, but also expanded the audience’s ability to relate.
Last but not least, some quick honorable mentions include Maddy’s iconic babysitting career, our new friend Elliot, and Cassie almost revealing the secret of the season. I have a feeling I will have a lot more favorites to write about next week, so stay tuned :)
