If you’re anything like me, you’re a book nerd. That’s why I love being on #BookTok! BookTok (the reading side of TikTok) is full of great suggestions for anyone, even reluctant readers. I’ve gotten through a fair share of popular BookTok books throughout the year and wanted to give you my review on them.

It Ends With Us By Colleen Hoover (5/5 stars)

If I could give this book endless stars I would. It left me so sad, so fulfilled, so conflicted and so emotional. However, I will warn that this book talks about a lot of tough topics, such as domestic abuse. It was hard to read at moments. However, it is truly a beautiful story that is worth the read.

The seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid (3/5 stars)

Listen… I know I’m going to get some hate for this one. I just had such a hard time finishing this book. It was a great story and I liked the idea of it. However, I stopped about halfway through and honestly didn’t pick it back up ’til about a month later. Overall, it was a good story that I do recommend. It was just hard to push through.

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart (4/5 stars)

Honestly, this story was gut-wrenching—especially at the end. This one took a while for me to get into. It was a little slow-moving, but let me tell ya, when the action starts, you won’t be able to put the book down. There is definitely an unexpected twist you won’t see coming with this book that will leave your jaw on the floor and tears streaming down your face.

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover (5/5 stars)

Honestly, most of the books on this list are probably going to be written by Colleen Hoover. She’s a writing genius. I seriously think I read this book in a matter of one day. It was that good. The character development? *chef’s kiss* The romance? *chef’s kiss* Need I say more?

they Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (5/5 stars)

Ugh. This was such a gut-wrenching story, even though you already know what’s going to happen just by looking at the title. Just by reading this, you’re doomed from the start (lol). This book has such an interesting plot and the character development throughout it is absolutely beautiful. Please read this book!

Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover (5/5 Stars)

I definitely read this in a day. This is Colleen’s latest novel and it is seriously one of her best. This forbidden romances entices you from the beginning and keeps you hanging on at every chapter. My heart broke for every single character, no matter how big or small they were. If you want a good cry, I definitely recommend this book.

If you’re searching for a new book to read while browsing through the library or Barnes & Noble, please take a look at literally any of these. I guarantee they will leave you hanging and wanting more at every single turn of a page. Reminder: It’s always a good thing to immerse yourself in a book every once in a while.
