As the weather gets colder and the semester winds down for colleges all across the country, most college students want nothing more than a little rest and relaxation. With the holidays approaching, one of my favorite ways to unwind is to have the perfect night in. A holiday night can be different for everyone, but this is a little snapshot into what I like to do!

  1. Throw on your favorite holiday pajamas!

You can’t relax until you’re in your comfiest clothing, and you might as well stick with the theme of the night! I recently picked up a matching pajama set from target that has holiday dinosaurs on it – cheesy, I know, but they definitely bring in the holiday cheer!

2. Pick up some holiday cookie dough

I know I’ve got a major sweet tooth, and cookies that are themed for the holidays do just the trick! The Pillsbury reindeer or snowman cookies are the perfect cookies for your holiday night in.

3. Make a playlist of all of your favorite holiday songs to listen to while you bake!

Spotify has tons of pre-made holiday playlists, from New Music Holiday to Christmas Pop to Christmas Hits! If you’re not sure what you want to have on your own personal holiday playlists, listen to these playlists and save your favorite ones to perfectly curate your own.

4. Draft a list of holiday movies to watch

Everyone has a comfort holiday movie and for me, that’s Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town from 1970. It was a movie I constantly watched every year as a kid around the holidays. That movie not your type of holiday movie? Try Home Alone, Elf, The Santa Clause or any cheesy Hallmark holiday movie!

Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the holiday cheer!
