Can you believe we are already in a new season?? Fall in Phoenix is such a precious time. As the air cools down, and the leaves begin to lose their life, it’s a perfect time to be pondering how we can change ours.

There are so many beautiful attributes to fall.

From sunsets to festivals and even hot air balloon rides, you should never be bored in this beautiful season!

If you are a student on campus, or even on a college budget, there are many activities, roommate bonding events, or even movies you can watch to get you into the fall spirit! Most of these activities cost little to zero money.

When thinking about fall it’s easy to imagine the close to a season or a time of rest. A time to cuddle up with a blanket and a journal, to whip out the crockpot and even tell stories by the fire.

How can you reflect on this season in a positive manner? What would you change if you had a magic wand?

Moving into a new season can sometimes be uncomfortable. Look at this time as a season of growth! Try something new, meet new people, engage in a new hobby.

For some, it is super easy to have doubt or fear about entering a new time. As busy college students, make sure to give yourself grace and love yourself along your journey! Stepping into a zone that is uncomfortable pushes you and encourages you to be your best self. As we grow into adulthood, it’s amazing and scary to recognize the ways we can better ourselves and the people around us.

Fall is also the best season to count your blessings, and do your best to be thankful for everything you have around you. It is so easy to get wrapped up in everyday mundane tasks, we forget to be thankful for the smallest blessings around us.

Cook dinner for your friends, call your grandma, go for a walk and enjoy nature!

As the leaves are falling, ponder on the way that you look at what you have around you. Checking your heart posture is not always easy, but comes with great rewards.

Being thankful for what you have and being happy in the moment is also an extremely difficult task.

How can you go into fall with a new approach? This could be on people, school, work, religion and even yourself.

Make a list of more productive ways to take care of yourself and others this semester, and this season as a whole.

Fall is such a beautiful season to do some deep pruning of yourself and the things in your life! Wishing you a peaceful and beautiful season.
