Getting gifts for everyone on your list can be overwhelming, but there’s no need to fear: the holiday gift guide for your girly besties is here! Us college women have a lot on our plate, so this season treat your friends to self-care oriented gifts that can help them relax and rejuvenate over break. Looking and feeling our best is so, so important, so many of my picks appeal to that desire. In the whirlwind that is college, it is easy to lose touch with your feminine side, so gift your friends items that remind them of the fabulous woman they are. This may seem like a basic idea, but it’s a classic for a reason! A seasonal candle is a great gift to help your bestie enjoy the holiday season. I’m burning one right now writing this article! My favorite winter candle by far is the “Citrus Spruce Mason Jar Candle” from Surf’s Up Candle. They are all natural soy wax candles with no dyes, paraffins, lead or petroleum content. Plus, they smell amazing!
silk scrunchies
This year, give the gift of great hair! Regular hair ties can damage hair and cause ponytail creases. Silk scrunchies, however, are perfect for nighttime or day use because they are stylish and damage-free. Your friends will thank you for this one. A cult classic in the beauty industry is the brand Slip, which makes silk pillowcases and scrunchies. Their holiday scrunchie set has super cute packaging and a nice variety of scrunchies that are perfect colors for winter.
Lash primer/serum
Lash primer and serum are two things every girl needs but doesn’t think to buy for herself. My mom bought me the Lancôme Mascara Primer for Christmas two years ago, and I haven’t looked back since. Lash primer is an easy way to achieve thicker-looking lashes without the hassle (or money) of buying falsies or lash extensions.

plumping lip gloss
Plumping lip glosses have made a resurgence in popularity this year, and for good reason! They totally rock. My favorite plumping lip gloss is from Too Faced. They are packaged beautifully and do a great job of plumping your pout.

OLAPLEX is the fairy godmother of hair product companies. With so many great products to try, why not gift your friend a kit of the essentials? The Healthy Hair Essentials package includes shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, and styling cream. OLAPLEX is safe for salon-colored hair and I can vouch that it also is friendly to curly hair types as well.
Smiley patch beanie
Over the summer, smiley face trucker hats came into style, and now a wave of smiley face patch beanies have popped up in stores for the winter season. I think the happy face adds a bit of pep to the dreary cold season and makes winter outfits a little more preppy. Remind your friends how much they make you smile with this fun accessory.
dior lip glow oil
Give your friends a taste a glamour with this designer lip oil. They come in a variety of colors and are super hydrating for the winter. The Dior Lip Glow Oils have blown up on TikTok for their good quality, pretty packaging, and reasonable price point. This is a great gift for the material girls in your life.
kendra scott ari heart gold pendant necklace
First of all, Kendra Scott products in general are always a safe gift option for girls. Yet, I think the heart pendant in particular is an especially good gift idea because it is more reasonably priced than the Elisa Pendant and would make a great friendship necklace. The concept of friendship jewelry may sound elementary, but matching Kendra Scott heart-shaped necklaces sounds irresistibly cute to me.

ugg slippers
Slippers are an absolute necessity for every college student, and UGG slippers happen to be the best of the best in that department. The open-toe, platform UGG slippers that came into fashion in the fall are super cute, though for the winter I’d go for a close-toed shoe since it is a little more practical.
silk PJs
Silk PJs are the essence of self-care and relaxation. A silk set would seriously up your friends spa-night experience. You can find Silk Pajamas on multiple sites online, but I thought the light pink set from Victoria’s Secret was the prettiest set for girly girls.
perfume
Perfume is a staple holiday gift. Unless you know your friend is picky about the scents they wear, you really can’t go wrong with gifting a girl nice perfume. One of my favorites is Carolina Herrera’s “Good Girl” perfume. The scent is perfect for a girl’s night out, and the bottle is shaped like a stiletto heel. So fun!
