Hi Her Campus! This will be my last article as I am graduating this December of 2021.
After being part of Her Campus for 2 years I have loved every minute of it! College has been a crazy ride and it was a pleasure being a part of Her Campus. Her Campus is such an amazing organization and has led me to grow as a writer and a person.
I tried multiple organizations and interacted with different groups of people but while they were all great, I hadn’t found the opportunity to leave my mark on GSU’s campus and now I have met so many wonderful girls and was able to be in an empowering community. I was able to use my joy for writing and being able to talk about topics that are not usually spoken about. I was able to put my thoughts and words out into the world without judgment. I was able to read articles ranging from so many different topics from girls all from different universities.
I love that Her Campus has given a voice to college students hoping to gain experience in journalism. I also love that it’s geared toward woman-aligned individuals. It’s not a traditional media outlet or college newspaper; it’s inclusive. I know Her Campus is in the best hands and it will be growing more as an organization even when I leave.
