This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCF chapter.

The Enneagram Test, one of many popular personality tests, is a fun and versatile way to find out more about your own personality and sort your favorite fictional characters out as well. With the Enneagram personality test, personalities are classified into subtypes including the heart, the body and the head. Now let’s take a deep dive into Grey’s Anatomy and find out what Grey’s Anatomy character you’d be based on your enneagram.

TYPE 1: THE REFORMER/PERFECTIONIST

If you are a Type One, you may be more like Miranda Bailey than you once assumed. As a Type One, Bailey is extremely drawn to rigidly abiding by the hospital rules, setting high standards for herself and coworkers and being a stickler for perfection. Sometimes your high standards lead to you appearing judgmental. You may find that you value hard work and tend to be ambitious in your profession of choice.

TYPE 2: THE HELPER

Hey, mom of the group, this one’s for you, The Helper of the Enneagrams is clearly April Kepner. April Kepner and other Type Twos like you are known for their warm and caring personality. April thrives in Seattle Grace as she learns to trust her gut and cares deeply not just for those in her life, but for her patients as well. Type Two enneagrams are extremely selfless, find comfort in a consistent routine and are well-liked by others.

TYPE 3: THE ACHIEVER

As a Type Three, you are most like Jackson Avery. As a Type Three, he is extremely driven to make a name for himself separate from that of his family’s achievements and prove himself worthy of his job. Just like Jackson, you are likely to be a natural leader and be confident and grounded towards your goals. At first glance, you may appear overly arrogant as you work to make your dreams come true

TYPE 4: THE INDIVIDUALIST

No other character could accurately embody an Enneagram Four quite like Meredith Grey can. Meredith and other Type Fours like you may be more sensitive, struggle to openly talk about your emotions, and come across as moody or temperamental. Type Fours generally have a unique sense of self and tend to be creative individuals. As a Four, you may yearn to connect with others and be accepted by those around you.

TYPE 5: THE INVESTIGATOR

If you are a Type Five, then you are most like Derek Shepherd. Your Enneagram type is known for being talented, innovative and perceptive to what is around you. As a Type Five, Derek values the opinions of others and is extremely knowledgeable. Type Fives actively try to observe and learn more about the world around them. People who know you see how you prefer to observe others and your environment rather than engage with people.

TYPE 6: THE LOYALIST

There’s no other character that represents a Type Six quite like Lexie Grey does. As an Enneagram Six, you are known for your goals and emphasize being a high achiever. Type Sixes may struggle with how they believe others perceive them. Similar to Lexie’s bond with Meredith and Sloan, an Enneagram Six strongly values caring and protecting others and being a fiercely loyal and safe place for their loved ones.

TYPE 7: THE ENTHUSIAST

If you are a Type Seven, you may actually be happy to hear you’re most like Mark Sloan. You’re the life of the party, charismatic, and seen for your carefree and confident personality. Similar to Mark, Enneagram Sevens like you are known for their positive attitude, being devoted to one’s passions and interests, and are always down for a new adventure.

TYPE 8: THE CHALLENGER

Type Eight, welcome to the party, it’s time to dance it out in traditional Cristina Yang fashion. Cristina Yang is not only a natural-born leader, but she comes off as strongly independent and intense in her journey to become a world-class surgeon. As an Enneagram Eight, you are likely to be confident in your abilities, yet blunt and intimidating at times. Challengers like you will be determined to achieve your goals and feel a sense of control.

TYPE 9: THE PEACEMAKER

If you are a Type Nine, you may have more in common with George O’Malley than you may have once thought. Similar to George, you may find it difficult to assert yourself. You are a compassionate person, harmonious and reassuring to those around you. Type Nines have a habit of not recognizing their own strengths. You may find it difficult to compete against others, prefer to be a team player and wear your heart on your sleeve.
