The Princess Bride
My personal favorite, The Princess Bride is the perfect movie for a nice night in. Romance, adventure, and magic are all tied into this well-known classic. With exceptional characters such as Westley, Inigo Montoya, and Miracle Max, this movie does not disappoint. This movie is an excellent way to see if you and your prospective boo have the same impeccable taste in movies and if they are worth cuffing.

When Harry Met Sally…
I, for one, think any rom-com starring Meg Ryan from the 1980s-90s is a must-watch. However, When Harry Met Sally… is not only fitting for this season of the year (New York City in the autumn/winter), but it’s the perfect blend of comedy, romance, and nostalgia. Although the story follows a very tumultuous relationship between Harry and Sally, it is sure to bring you warm feelings this season. It’s the quintessential Nora Ephron film for cuffing season.

Harry Potter:
Although Harry Styles says: “can we just search romantic comedies on Netflix and see what we find?” I personally think that the best movies for cuffing season are not necessarily rom-coms, but rather any of the Harry Potter movies. The light-hearted nostalgia and the element of surprise of the movies never fail to put a smile on viewers’ faces. The sensation of wanting to cuddle up with hot chocolate and a fireplace is unmatched, but is even better when Harry Potter is involved!

La La Land
If you’re looking for an exciting, romantic, and visually beautiful movie to watch with someone special, don’t skip out on La La Land. I’m personally not a huge fan of musicals, but this film starring rom-com legends Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling is one that I will never get tired of (and the musical numbers definitely grow on you). It’s funny, dreamy, and just the right amount of heartbreaking. So, even if you think you’re not a fan of musicals, give La La Land a chance this cuffing season.
