As fall begins, the opportunity to try new things with your partner is presenting itself in fresh, festive ways. Whether it be an exclusive relationship or just a playful hookup, experimenting with new turn-ons is always a yes. A fantastic way to heat up your relationship as the weather cools down is with aphrodisiacs. What exactly is an aphrodisiac one might ask? Aphrodisiacs are any food or drink that enhances one’s sexual desire, arousal, and performance. Thankfully, with the changing of the leaves and the entrance into fall comes a fantastic smorgasbord for you and your partner to pick from.

To start, oysters happen to be the number one  most effective aphrodisiac that a person can consume. Prime oyster season begins at the beginning of September and follows through until the end of winter. Another fall favorite to give you that extra boost is cinnamon. Whether it be a dessert or a coffee, recipes with cinnamon are easy to come by. Another hard-hitting Autumn staple is pumpkin pie. A study done by the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago found that the scent of pumpkin pie alone increased blood flow in male nether regions and aroused lust in women as well. Trying out various ways to bring a little heat into a relationship is a great way to grow close and deepen intimacy for both parties.

Here are some delicious (and flirty) recipes for you and your significant other to test out this season!
