Here are some tips that you can use to make your October have more treats than tricks.

Try New Hobby

Sticking to the same routine everyday can be boring. Starting a new hobby every month can give you a sense of purpose or even give you a happiness that your daily routine doesn’t give you. Exercising, journaling, baking, creating jewelry, reading, taking pictures, or even going outside for a walk or to breathe in fresh air.

Spend Time with Your Loved Ones

Surrounding yourself with the comfort and love of those who care the most for you, is the most important of self-care. By spending time with them you are healing your mental and emotional health. Spending long days alone takes a toll on an individual, but by having time to spend with those who love and support you is the most self-love you can give yourself.

Unplug from Technology

Being in an era filled with technology, many can get consumed with everything it brings. By unplugging from your phone or any type of tech you have at home, you are able to see your life in a new light. Maybe you will find a new hobby, you can spend time with your loved ones, you can practice self-love, and find a new purpose in life.

Here are some YouTube videos for you to get inspired to create your own self-care plan.
