College can be hectic, and it’s hard to keep up with social life, school, and get enough sleep! So here are a few things I recommend that will make your life better!

  1. PLANNER

Back in high school, I never used a planner. I thought they were pointless and a waste of money. That couldn’t be further from the truth! As a junior in college, my planner has kept my life together! I’ve written down important social dates, birthdays, exam dates, and homework. It’s easier to see what you need to get done in the week and see what’s ahead.

2. 4 Tier Hangers

In college, there is little space, so you need to get creative. For example, I bought a 4 tier clothing hanger for all of my jeans, which has saved me so much space! I have an absurd amount of jeans, and they would’ve taken up a good portion of my closet.

3. 5 Subject Notebooks

I love buying multiple subject notebooks. They last forever! I’m someone who has to handwrite notes to remember the material, and these have been a life-saver. Since I have only a few lecture classes now that I’m an upperclassman, my notebooks have lasted three semesters. It’s a money saver too!

4. A Pair of (Working!) Headphones

I’m someone who listens to music all the time, to relax, to clean my apartment, to walk to class, etc. My AirPods broke last semester, and I didn’t realize how big of a role music played in my life until I couldn’t listen to it. Now I have a good pair of cord headphones (at least I don’t have to charge them!), and they are brought everywhere with me.

5. A Netflix Subscription

I always watch movies and tv shows to unwind after a busy day. When school gets overwhelming, and you need a break, distracting yourself with something fun always helps! I watch my favorite crime tv-shows to unwind. Is that weird? Probably.
