My Top 5 Places to Visit in Pittsburgh

National Aviary

This is one of my favorite experiences thus far! We were able to see many birds like penguins, toucans, eagles, and much, much more. My favorite thing that I have ever experienced was seeing the toucans. We were able to get within 6 inches of the toucans with no glass. It was absolutely amazing I recommend it completely!

Randyland

This backyard art gallery is such a cool sight to see! If you are lucky, Randy himself will be there to take pictures with and chat with. This is right in the middle of North Shore. I highly recommend if you are getting food along the river to check it out. Lots of photo opportunities.

Wiggy’s

If you love wings like I do you HAVE to check this out! We make sure to go to Wiggy’s every time we take a trip to Pittsburgh. The lady at the counter is so sweet and the wings are PERFECT. They have so many flavors of rubs and sauces and they are so cheap. Check this out if you can!

Monuments on North Shore

While you’re checking out Randyland, park along the river and see these amazing captures of our history. We visited the Vietnam and Korean War memorials as well as the Mr. Roger monument. This is a very nice thing to do to rewind back in history and reflect on these events.

Oakmont bakery

If you go to Pittsburgh, you absolutely must go to the Oakmont bakery. They have a new and bigger version from their small startup store, and it is amazing. If you don’t want baked goods just go for the experience, it’s awesome! I recommend the lady locks (they are giant!), cupcakes, and thumbprint cookies.
