Real Girls, Real Beauty: Speaker Panel Addresses Beauty in All Its Forms

I don’t know about you ladies, but I’m a huge fan of real beauty. Let’s face it, there’s enough artificial beauty and negative messages out there, so it’s great when positive people join forces to promote real beauty! And that’s happening at a very special event TOMORROW, Nov. 12 at the Lower Eastside Girls Club in NYC!

The inaugural “Real Girls, Real Beauty” speaker series will feature three inspiring speakers: fitness expert Carlos Leon, beauty guru Michael Angelo, and Alexis Wolfer, founder and editor-in-chief of The Beauty Bean. The event will be the first in an ongoing series and will give members of the Girls Club a chance to learn about health, wellness, real beauty and self-confidence from the pros!

Carlos Leon will speak about easy, affordable ways to stay fit and eat well; Michael Angelo, a top hair stylist and founder of Wonderland Beauty Parlor in NYC, will share tips for working with your natural hair type; and Alexis Wolfer will moderate the discussion and share Real Beauty tips for everything from makeup to confidence.

The event is closed to LES Girls Club girls, but future events will be open to the public. Chrissy’s Beauty School will keep you posted for similar events, but in the meantime, stay tuned for an exciting interview with Alexis Wolfer!
