How are you involved on campus? “I’m involved in various RSO’s across campus, but most noteably, I’m currently the Political Affairs Chair of the Western Student Association. I also work as a Student Ambassador, am involved with some of the First Year Experience programs, and am a member of the Lee Honors College.”

If you had a theme song what would it be? “This is tough because I bounce around from song to song, but right now I have “Edge of Desire” by John Mayer on repeat.”

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? “My dad’s favorite story to tell is of me (at the age of 6) sitting in the back seat after soccer practice, telling him that I wanted to be a history professor when I grew up.”

What is your dream job now? “I actually still want to be a professor, but I’ll probably get my Ph.D. in Communication or Public Policy, not History.”

If you could have dinner with any person, living or dead, who would it be and why? “I think it would be fascinating to have dinner with Michelle Obama. She seems like a very genuine person, and I think it would be fun to hear what it’s like to be married to the President of the United States.”

What is your favorite thing about WMU? “I love that WMU has all the opportunities other big universities have, but at the same time, we keep that small-campus feel. It really allows us to focus on the success of our students.”

What is your relationship status? “Definitely single.”

What is your biggest fear? “Killing bugs!! I cannot stand them. Outside is fine, but inside…ugh.”
