When I woke up this morning and rolled out of bed, I couldn’t pinpoint a part of my body that wasn’t sore. However, as much as I used to believe this concept didn’t exist, it was a good sore.
I’ll be honest, I absolutely hate exercising, so I was dreading working out when I started the Jump Start Diet. I also had no idea when I was going to work out. I don’t have a minute to spare in my crazy schedule!
Luckily I solved the scheduling issue yesterday. I’m stage managing a musical at school, and the cast does a half hour “dance warm-up” each day. Usually I just watch and offer words of encouragemant, but yesterday I decided to join in!
The word “warm-up” was a bit misleading, because this was definitely a work out! We combined things like push ups and crunches with cardio and ballet moves. Although it was not an easy work out, I actually did have fun! We were dancing to Justin Beiber and music from Glee, and having 25 other people alongside me supporting me really helped me push myself.
Today I am definitely feeling it, but it was such a surprisingly fun workout that I plan to keep up with it. I’d love to hear your suggestions for fun workouts too! Comment or tweet me @catipish
