What are you looking forward to most about graduating this May? Starting my Adult Life! I have felt really stagnant the past few months because almost every decision hinges on “when I graduate…” so I look forward to starting my career and being independent for the first time in my life.

How do you plan to celebrate? A small celebration after the ceremony and two weeks after graduation, my mom and I are taking a 5-day cruise! It’ll be my first-ever cruise and I’m so excited!

What will you miss about USFSP? I think I’ll miss the learning, most of all. I’m someone who craves learning and teaching so while I’ll get a different type of learning in my future career, I think a part of me will miss the constant challenge of tests, projects, and papers and getting it all done in a short amount of time.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend? First and foremost, sleep. :) And I also enjoy going for runs around St. Petersburg, shopping, and hanging out with my family.

What’s your dream vacation? One day, I’d love to go to Russia! There’s something about that country that appeals to me and has since I was a little girl.

What do you hope you’ll be doing in 10 years? I hope to be happy in what I’m doing. Whether that involves a husband, children, or a published book remains to be seen. Ultimately, though, happiness in the here and now.

Five Favorites:

Favorite Color: Turquoise!
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. You can’t go wrong with cookie dough.
Favorite Smell: Freshly cut grass, the pages of a new (or old) book, my dog’s neck.
Favorite Song: Brian Littrell’s version of “In Christ Alone” is far and away one of my favorite songs.
Favorite Book: I don’t have favorite books, I have favorite authors. Right now, I’m digging Sarah Dessen’s writing style. She sucks you in and makes you fall in love with the characters from the first page.
