Gym Chronicles: New Interval Workout

In honor of spring, here is an interval workout you can do outside. This Sunday when you’re bored with your friends head out to the track and try out this fun workout!
 
Warm up:
Jog around the track 4 or 5 times
Dynamic Stretching- Do walking lunges, knee hugs, and quad stretches down the long side of the track 3 times
 
Strength:
10 squat jumps
10 push-ups
10 wide squats with feet pointing out
10 tricep push-ups
 
Quickness:
Sprint around the track once
Jog around half the track
Sprint around the track once
Jog around half the track

Skip around the track
Jog around half the track
Sprint around the track
 
Strength:
20 lunges with your hands behind your head down the long side of the track
Jump down the short side
20 lunges with your hands behind your head down the long side of the track
Jump down the short side
10 wide push-ups
10 jumping jacks
 
Quickness:
Sprint around the long side
Jog around the short side
Sprint around the long side
Jog around the short side
Sprint around the long side
Jog around the short side
Sprint around the entire track
 
Strength:
Finish up with some ab exercises and stretching
