The men of Mizzou’s Alpha Epsilon Pi know how to rock it – literally! The largest fraternal philanthropy in the nation, AEPi’s Rock-A-Thon raises money for the American Cancer Society and awareness for cancer treatment and research. The biannual philanthropy kicked off Wednesday, April 27 at The Blue Note with a benefit concert featuring Sister Hazel. Starting Wednesday, Senior Lenny Goldman took residence on a stage set up on Ninth & Broadway and rocked for 63 hours straight! While Lenny rocked, his AEPi brothers canned for donations throughout Columbia, St. Louis and Kansas City.

Since its creation in 1969, Rock-A-Thon has become the largest single chapter philanthropy in the nation. Last year, Rock-A-Thon earned $52,000 for the American Cancer Society. Spearheaded by senior Lee Zucker this year, the philanthropy raised a whopping, record-breaking $80,300+! Way to rock, guys!
