Four Guys You Meet at QU

Looking for a man? The male to female ratio is about 60:40 here at Quinnipiac, so trying to find the right guy is hard to do. But, you only really have four to choose from. There might be a few individuals out there who don’t fit into each category, but here’s what you can choose from:
 

1.The Jock– He is fit, good-looking, and you can watch him any time you want (if only they all looked like David Beckham). He and his teammates travel in a pack, so if you are interested in this type of guy you know if you find one there are more coming. So if you’re interested in trying to get his number, you can always spot him sporting his team gear around campus. 
 
 2.The Frat Boy – He wears his Greek letters and he’s proud of it. If you badmouth his frat or his brothers, he won’t give you the time of day. Of course, he is a flirt. He socializes and parties like it’s his job. If you’re a sorority girl, have a social with the fraternity so you can meet your dream boy, and if not they are always having a party on the weekends. Although he may party hard, he knows when its time to concentrate on his academics. He is studious and knows the importance of his schoolwork.
 
 3.The Guido – He wears more gel in his hair than you or any of your girlfriends, but he knows how to make it look good. He’s tan all year round and is a very fashionable dresser. You’ll always catch him in New Haven, fist pumping his way to Toad’s Place, Wicked Wolf or any of the other bars  

4.The Nerd– He’s the sweet, quiet boy who sits behind you in class. He’s not one to go out on the weekends, but he will always treat you like a princess. He’s a gentleman. The dating scene might be a new world to him, but he’ll try his best and put all his efforts into it, just like his classroom status. If you ever decide to stay in on the weekend, you can have a study date with him. If you’re lucky, he may bejust as charming and funny like Michael Cera!

  Johana Gutierrez is a Public Relations student at Quinnipiac University with a minor in International Business. She comes from a city life area in the Southern part of Connecticut.At Quinnipiac, she is the Alumni Relations Director for the International Business Society and member of PRSSA. This past summer, Johana interned at Live Nation Entertainment in NYC.
