HCBU’s Trip to Bliss!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

Last Friday, fellow HCBU Campus Correspondent Ashley and I had the best time getting manicures at Boston’s new spa Bliss! Located at 100 Stuart Street by the Boylston T stop, Bliss Boston is two stories of pure relaxation in the midst of our bustling city. Bliss is commit
ted to breaking down the stereotype that brains and beauty must be mutually exclusive, and as a part of their “Brainy is a Beautiful Thing” campaign, they’re giving 15% off all their spa treatments with a student ID and 20% for any student who brings in an assignment that received an A until October 15th!

Their set up is super chic, and while you’re waiting for your appointment, there’s a waiting area fully stocked with the latest fashion magazines and delicious trays of olives, crackers, and their legendary brownies (which Ashley had to literally pull me away from). The staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially considering the fact that we were 20 minutes to our appointment from getting hopelessly lost in Chinatown. Although we didn’t have time for more than a manicure, we were both really interested to try some of their more interesting spa treatments, such as the triple oxygen treatment, the blissage75, and the hot salt scrub. For my next appointment, I know I’d really like to try the hot milk and almond pedicure, because doesn’t that just sound amazing?

After spending a considerable amount of time selecting which of their fantastic collection of Essie nail polish colors we were going to use, we chatted and watched TV on their two personal sets for the manicure station. It’s so rare that we get to treat ourselves to something like this, and after a long week of schoolwork, it was exactly what we both needed. And I’m sure you need it too! So make sure you take advantage of the great offers Bliss is making for brainy beautiful collegiettes™!
