NC State Men’s Basketball was in action this weekend when they played #20 Vanderbilt. The score was very tight throughout the whole game, with both teams going back and forth each half and both shooting over 50% from the floor. Vanderbilt’s late run in the closing minutes seemed to decide the game, with their starters seemingly outplaying the starters for State. C.J. Leslie is back and scored 20 points off the bench, which I see him being in the starting lineup as soon as possible. Even though they lost, this was a great test for them and just showed that they can compete with top 25 teams. Now they will have to bring the same intensity to the floor when they play a young Texas team on Nov 21.
Other news: Freshman Thomas de Thaey has been cleared to play immediately.
NC State Volleyball falls to Virginia Tech in 5 sets, after winning the first two sets of the match. The team is now 20-12 and 8-11 in the ACC.
NC State Men’s Cross Country finished 10th in NCAA Championship, with Ryan Hill and Andrew Colley earning All-American honors.
