Correct me if I’m mistaken but you are not “friends” with this poor fellow. What you’ve just described is a FWB (friend with benefits!). From what you’ve just listed it seems to me that your “friend” doesn’t realize that you don’t like him back. I mean can you really blame him? You seem to have been leading the guy on for who knows how long. The humane thing to do would be to stop doing what you’re doing, and let him go. If he kisses you and you kiss him back, you’re making things worse. You’re giving him false hope and a bunch of mixed signals.
Why would you kiss someone that you don’t like? Are you bored? If so, I can assure you that you can relieve yourself of such boredom by doing other things, like going out to the movies, or reading a book. Guys are humans too, even if sometimes you truly question if they’re from this planet. And as a human I’m sure that your “friend” has emotions, so stop toying around with him and tell him where you stand. Let him know that even though you’ve been returning his romantic advances, you don’t like him in the same way that he likes you. And plus, there are plenty of guys out there who want the whole “No Strings Attached” sort of relationship, so go find yourself one of those chaps.
